EverThrive IL invites you to join us Wednesday, February 24th, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to our virtual Immunization Seminar.
The seminar will focus on the impact of racism in health care, improving vaccine confidence, and navigating miscommunication on vaccines, including the COVID-19 Vaccine.
This discussion will provide a framework for understanding the key historical details that underpin institutional racism in health care while exploring recommendations for agencies, institutions, and health care workers to acknowledge and understand the hesitancy in these communities. We will share resources to provide unbiased education and emphasize the importance of engaging trusted messengers to build and continue trust within these communities that COVID-19 has most impacted. We will also provide resources to combat vaccine misinformation that is often spread on social media so that individuals can make sound decisions based on scientific-based information.
Note about registration - Due to high interest, we anticipate this webinar will be full and we recommend signing on 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the broadcast. Everyone registered will be sent the recording and materials following the presentation, even if you're unable to attend the live webinar. Thank you for your interest and stay tuned for upcoming events from EverThrive IL.
